A Birthday to Remember: Eight Species and One Fantastic Fishing Trip
Last Monday’s charter was one for the books - full of laughter, action-packed fishing, and great company.
A special mention goes to Nathan, who joined us to celebrate his birthday on board. We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere to mark the occasion.
With a careful eye on the forecast, we set course for one of our reliable sheltered marks. Conditions there were just right for everyone to get stuck in, and before long, the rods were bending and the deck was buzzing with excitement.
For some on board, it was their first-time sea fishing from a boat. But a few tips and a little guidance made all the difference. It wasn’t long before everyone was into fish – and what a variety we had.
Eight different species were landed during the trip, including the always-impressive thornback ray, the powerful tope, and a spirited conger eel. The day brought the kind of action that keeps both newcomers and seasoned anglers hooked.
As always, the vibe on deck was brilliant – a real mix of experience levels, plenty of laughs, and shared moments that made the trip something special.
